Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.

Your giving matters

At Saltbox Church, we deeply appreciate the generosity of those who choose to give to specific organizations or designated areas within the church. Your contributions are vital to furthering the mission of our church and supporting the ministries and causes you care about. However, we also want to clarify that when gifts are designated for specific purposes, they are still a part of our broader budget. While your gifts are directed toward particular areas, they contribute to the overall financial health of our church, ensuring that we can continue to meet both specific needs and the general operational costs of our ministry. In order to manage resources effectively and sustain the ongoing work of the church, we may allocate funds across the budget as needed, while honoring the spirit of the designations. This approach allows us to fulfill our mission and responsibilities, ensuring that every gift is used in a way that reflects both the donor's intent and the needs of the entire church community. Outward Focused

We believe that the Lord Jesus ministers to those people outside the local church, primarily through the local church. We are seeking to empower Saltbox Church (the body) to engage with people who are far from God through evangelism, personal ministry and service oriented outreach.

Equipping People for Ministry

We believe that God has called each of us to a unique purpose. Part of our role as a church is to help people discover that purpose and answer their call to Christian ministry.

We are united with millions of believers around the world, and see our role as part of a whole. We are not focused on building our own castle as much we are focused on building the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
